Provision of Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) Calculations
Since 1995 it has been a requirement that all new dwellings have SAP home energy rating calculations prepared in order to demonstrate to local Building Control Bodies that the proposed dwellings meet the standards of the prevailing building regulations with regards to the Conservation of Fuel and Power.
In addition SAP calculations may also be required in order to support building regulations applications for existing dwellings - for example, when an extension is being added, or when a building undergoes a material change of use or material alteration. Operating as a sole trader, professionally qualified as a National Home Energy Rating (NHER) Authorised SAP Assessor, and an accredited On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA), I provide a responsive, competitive and flexible service to assist private individuals and businesses with their homebuilding ambitions, by carrying out SAP calculations in order to obtain the required Building Control authorisations and provide the mandatory Predicted Energy Assessments (PEAs) and On Construction Energy Performance Certificates (OCEPCs).
